You need extra air. The Bristles may have had some thing to do with it but I would lean towards air. :smokey: Bristles arn't preditory.

Looks like a Clown Pleco. It's a gamble with the Cichilids as they will most likely kill the pleco. If you have lots of hiding places it may work out for you. :smokey: Good luck

I don't know if the tap water has changed lately but my Syno P's have always disliked water changes, I've always tried to add the water slow in their tank as not to shock them and have always added Prime until this last WC... They can be very sensitive to change. I doubt it was a change in the tap water.:smokey:

If you run the salt and or maroxy /both you wont have to worry about detox althought some extra charcole would help after youre done treating As well as water changes. :thumbs:

Maroxy is a good anti-funal . 1 Tbls per 10 gal or even per 5 is very effective and is less harmful to your fish than most meds. Has worked rapidly in expirence. Good luck :thumbs:
