i would try to pull it out if you don't want him there. there are lots of other scavengers out there that you can put in your tank. I hate them too. They freak me out.

i went thru the same problem in my tank before. I ended up destroying the whole tank. You could let your fish sleep a while, and then turn on the light, and try to fish CAE out before he wakes up.

SAE is the only algea eater fish that consume hair algea. They do get pretty big in their natural habitant. In thailand, we eat them. They look good when you have two or more in the tank, because theytend to swim together. as for Amano shrimp, they might get eaten by your angle fish. CAE dont actually eat algea eh.

Hi. I live in Calgary.. currently keeping the african cichlids + here and there.. hahaha 1x 10g 1x 20g 1x 25g 1x 33g 1x 75g 1x 90g 1x 125g all are runnings. its nice to have local forum.
