  6. She picked the orphan boy too. Hope your blue does okay and no prozac isn't going to help although we get it in liquid.
  7. You guys are crazy - I'll take the pre-spoiled oscars that want some more room over a single fish for that much. Although I guess had you said it was some sort of Betta I was looking for in a breeding pair I might consider it - LOL
  8. He looks very handsome!!!! I love my red Dragon PK pair!!

  10. Wow that many made it - Awesome!!! I have males building bubble nests in their individual homes but need to set up the breeding tanks again. Hopefully tongiht since I cleaned my kitchen tonight. No small feat with the size of it. Give Maddie a smoosh and the kids some fishy crack!! PS - I would love some wild swords in a few weeks for the dayhome tank. Hoping to set it up this weekend and cycle it with the betta, snail and minnows.
  11. Well I will add some mix with the nearby gravel and see - anything that may help. Anyone know the most economical place to get root tabs? I am a member of most everything I can be.
  12. Good to know. I will grab some Root tabs tomorrow. Would planting in in flourite make it happier? I can pot it wil flourite.
  13. So I bought Riverfronts last madagascar lace plant (love 50% off) and now need advice on how best to keep it alive. I have read to keep it in a bit of a current to keep the leaves free of debris but what about fish, substrate, light etc. I have it in a 10g with my banana plant that is doing quite well - yes fishclubgirl - I can grow Banana Plants  Tank inhabitants are schenops mollies, red velvet swordtails a token betta (needs to be jarred), 2 pygmy cory's and 2 BN plecos. Also an assortment of plants. refillable CO2, about 1.7 wpg - i can do 3wpg if needed, ferts, flourish, trace, iron and potassium weeklyand about 78 degrees. No idea on chemistry - never bother with the kit. Any advice appreciated!!!
  14. If you wait a bit there may be some nice ones coming into Riverfront. I have heard whispers of a specialty type Betta order possible being placed in the next month or so.
  15. Ok so I take the opportunity to clean all my filters since I have EMergency filters on the tanks and I dump out the reserve on the Biowheel and I find a schenops molly female. How in the world did she get in there and how long has she been there? She is fine and there was no media in in just the wheel more for water movement. She must have gotten in the cup when I was filling the reserve but still.
  16. At least you have the weekend for frequent feeding and fretting. Give the grandkids a fishy kissy for us. Ceara can never know these are from our marble - Agreed?
  17. I unplugged all my HOB filters and got a air pump of small in tank filter in each tank so when it did come on things were ok and that if it happened again in the night they start with out issue. Spent an hour this AM getting all the HOB's going again
  18. See he needed his soulmate - He sure was a willing boy not even 2 weeks and he already knocked her up. At least they got married first - LOL
  19. You are going to have to get half that fish room at the Beau's place. You'd spend more time over and more time "together"
  20. Here is the after planting in sand and Flourite and heavy pruning. It has an AMAZING root system - I had to mutilate the plastic pot - its in about 10 pieces now.
  21. Yes I am definately says your BN are too busy shopping at Ikea and they haven't had much luck convincing each other to get a great big shelving unti and some big tanks for the twinkle in their eyes kids to grow out in :hey: I'd love a few BN - I will trim it back always so sad to do and fert 1 x wk. Now to find a better light for that tank. Damn 30" tanks.
  22. LMFAO -roll- :pff: Well hopefully they will make some gorgeous babies to fill that tank on your floor.
  23. LOL It definately would not fix it as I'd see all the Betta's you hide from me and then I want them - Then I have more Betta tanks to clean. I can help tomorrow afternoon though - I am serious BTW. Randy wants to ditch me at your place - He wants to go shopping sans wife and kids. He figures if I'm at your place I will be there for a while anyways. I don't know where he'd get that idea.
  24. So he got home I had actually cleaned and then we wnt out and I bought myself a shelf to hold all my empty 10g tanks that will be full and my 19g. I will be happily setting up tanks tonight!!!!
