  1. The website said every second Tuesday of the month, but had the date as the 9th? Is that just an error and it is on Tuesday the 10th?
  2. Here a few pics of my tank, Enjoy
  3. the bigger the better

  4. I am not a fan of compressiceps. I was thinking of cyps. but I think the tricoti will pick on them. If I do cyps. instead, I will do a large school. Thank You for the offer of the shelly's, I will let you know. Jay
  5. After much thought, I have decided to change my 400 from a south american cichlid tank to a tanganyikian cichlid tank. The stock list so far( growing out in another tank, until sa cichlids are gone) is 1.1 Black cap Ventralis, 1.4 Callochromis macrops, 0.3 boops(need to find a male), 10 Tropheus duboisi, 10 Tropheus moorii(musanga) and 4 Ectodus descampsi(want 10 more). I would like to add some shelly's as well as a group of Benthochromis tricoti. The tank is 96"x 30"x 30", with sump of 72"x 24"x 16"(LxWxH). I have a sand filter good up to 600 gals, a FX5 run through the closed loop holes in the bottom of the tank. I would like input as to which fish you guys and gals would add to this stock list. Thanks Jay
  6. Red coral is in the far N.W., Elite is the only sotre in the far south that has a full salt section(corals, fish, live rock) If you need it they can get it for you.
  7. I looked for almost two years and finally came across them. I can't wait for them to start another growth spurt. I need my peacock bass to catch up so they can go in there as well.
  8. No, I have a 400 gal fresh tank, a 200 gal mixed reef, a 90 gal custom reef, 150 gal moray eel system and a 77 gal planted tank. It would cost to much at the moment to make the 400 salt. I did drill the bottom for a closed loop, so one day it will be salt. Thanks
  9. Try getting some live clams from the market. If you have an asian market, they will have the best selection. You can freeze them and then thaw them out as needed. I don't know a trigger that won't eat then. Just watch your skimmer, it will over react with all the protien from the clams.
  10. Hi I was just wondering if anybody else has Umbess? Mine are about 8 and 10 inches. They are not that nice too each other, even thought they are in a 400 gal tank.
