  1. Hello and welcome to AA. Did the aquascaping thing as well...i guess in general plants are just more my game than fish.
  2. LOL. Mate, this info is years and years and years old. This ain't my tweak or info. At the time that person who created this hack, this info was all the rage and very popular. TImes change, peoples attitude change but information is always information. A couple years back this info was specifically requested by another member, I spent my OWN time tracking things down for them...searched...contacted the author, asked for permission to repost and put this post together. How I roll is to give info to people, if people don't like it that is their business. Free country I tho.
  3. Hello and welcome to AA.
  4. tonnes of info on the net. use Uncle Google with the keywords "Alberta scorpion". http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/scorpion/ the northern or boreal scorpion (family Vaejovidae, Paruroctonus boreus) is the only species that occurs in Canada (southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia). It is about 5 cm long and has a 2-year life cycle. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/rattlesnakes-not-the-only-danger-in-alberta-s-dinosaur-provincial-park-1.3133219 https://www.google.ca/search?q=Paruroctonus+boreus hope that helps

    Hi

    Hello and welcome to AA.
  10. Hello and welcome to AA.
  11. Thought I had posted this a while back but don't seem able to find it right now. This is not my mod, I'm posting info about another hobbyists work. I had contacted the owner and it is fine to repost this info.
  12. Interested in an old 'how to' for adding volume? posted here
  13. Hello and welcome to AA. Never go wrong with a good planted tank!
  14. I've done the foam spray thing and everyone who had dropped by always commented that it looked great. Very easy to do as well...just the only thing that will limit is the imagination.
  15. before you do, phone that store. 403-278-4040 I had even been sent to that store from other cdn tire locations.
  16. cdn tire southland told me they do fill. strange one will and one won't.
  17. Hello and welcome to AA.
  18. Not needed to have locations right across Canada for them to act like they are. They are in fact the largest pet store in Calgary in my opinion. This isn't a prop for them as they at times give horrible advice however that advice more that not is 'more' correct than petlands or petsmarts. Petlands and Petsmarts are clones of the same product...to me in Calgary there is one petland and one petsmart also one Pisces. Again I'm not a huge fan of them but they are the best show in town for choice.
