Hello, has anyone kept the 2 types of shrimp together and if so does one type of shrimp cause stress on the other type? Will they also reduce the breeding of the shrimps?

Anyone know where i can pick some up in Edmonton or do i need to buy it online. Also Im new to the ro/di scene, So after i get the water down to 0 tds, 0 gh, 0 kh, I would add the gh+ to bring tds and gh up, but what about the 0 kh. Do I need to add something else to the water to bring it up or is it fine to keep the kh at 0 for caridina shrimps. Thanks
