I have actually been lucky enough to get 2 pairs of these a couple months back and have them breeding for me weekly. I have now shifted my methods of raising out the fry and have several in my cory fry grow out tanks. These are very.. very easy to spawn under the right conditions.

It has almost been 7 months since an update.. how about you fill everyone in on what is going on.. seems like alot of people are interested in finding out more about these little guys.

I ment locally bred ones so they are used to our hard water..

wow.. awesome fish.. thanks for taking those pics for me to see. I really want to try some apistos one of these days, but am not sure the Saskatoon water would be good for them. I would definately need to think about investing in some RO first.

what kind of apisto's are they?? and do you have any pics of the parents.. their tank.. or heck.. even their pot? lol ohh and congrats on the spawn.

i would say look at L134 and compare to yours.. that is a possibility
