  1. So thanks to some very very generous donations from member laurensdad my tank is looking pretty full now for plants with some good color diversity also. Heres a quick update of how it's looking. Please excuse the poor quality pictures (phone camera). Plus if anybody has any suggestions at all for my tank let me have em, I'm all ears. I can't thank you enough laurensdad! I'm loving how it's looking! P.s. a couple Vals uprooted whilst I was taking the photos hence the floating vals
  2. You didn't choose the fish life, the fish life chose you! You cannot escape it.
  3. Thanks! It's coming along slowly but surely
  4. My tank is finally starting to fill in! Sorry ya'll I don't know the names of my plants off the top of my head, I have them in my book at home maybe I'll edit them in here afterwards. LIGHTING: 65 watt compact fluorescent 10,000k P.s. please excuse all the scrap clippings floating around, my platy is ready to pop some more fry so I keep them in there temporarily for hiding spot for fry until I can hopefully get them out before the angelfish has his way with them
  5. Hey y'all I recently upgraded the lights over my 29 gallon planted tank and now my plants are starting to really fill in. I'm really starting to love how it is looking more and more lush. Anyhow as it gets more green and thicker I realized I wouldn't mind having a little bit more color in there. I've noticed a lot of planted tanks have some pink/reddish plants and I would love to get some for my tank but I don't even know what they are called or where to get any. Also do you think my 2.24 wpg lighting would be enough to sustain a red plant (I heard somewhere they mostly require high light) Thanks for y'alls input!
  6. That sounds like it would be quite the event to witness.
  7. What size do you have them at? And how much are you selling for? Thanks in Advance!
  8. Hey there, I am looking to start up another tank in the near future for a black piranha (Serrasalmus rhombeus). Do you get these often and are they hard to get on request?
  9. I've always wanted to try to do say a wall of bamboo as a background. I don't know enough about bamboo though to care and trim them keep them in check. But I have heard they are to be kept rooted under water and leaves above water.
  10. Don't be putting any hillstream loaches... Fun video
  11. I think that it should be a combination, attempt to rid the store of them and notify the customer he will need to quarantine their purchase. They should also offer discounted meds.....
  12. Yes you can propagate it by replanting the trimmings, just make sure that you leave a few leaves on the base plant.
