I'm having a problem with Black Brush Algae in my community tank, I've recently redone my 46 gallon bowfront tank from a African cichlid tank I had for a year too a community tank and I have some areas that has that Black Brush Algae and can't get rid of it for the life of me. Any thoughts and advice?

As for fertilizer I have flourish root tabs and use tropica Specialised Fertiliser once a week and pretty much everyday a little of Flourish advance

Hi everyone I'm from Edmonton. I love this hobby I currently have 9 tanks set up also a saltwater nano tank. Looking forward to get to know a new crowd in my hobby not a lot of people I know that are in too aquarium and stuff so only leaves me too talk too my wife about the hobby and finding out information I use google wetch is not the best advice out there cause of a whole bunch of different information that could be good or could be wrong. I have a 46g bowfront tank that's my display tank for everyone too see With rams and rainbows fish lots of plants 15g with puffers that's my wife's tank she likes puffers 20g saltwater tank that's 7 months old 55g tank with baby OB Cichlids 20g tall with blue badis I'm currently trying to breed 2x10g with baby betas I breed 20 long with EBJD tell I have my 55g free to put him in A lot of little ones with Bettas that I've brought to breed.

I'm new too the whole discus tank, I've recently redone my African Cichlid tank and I'm changing it too a discus planted tank. I've read that discus are hard too keep especially in city water. Than I read that if they are captive bred it shouldn't be a problem keeping them. So it's kinda confusing that I'm hearing one thing over another and discus are expensive I don't wanna pay a whole lot then have them die. They are gonna be in a 46 gallon bow front tank with lots of plants right now I have rams and rainbow fish in it right now cause I'm waiting tell the plants mature and my tank is stable. Looking on advice to successfully keep discus fish with out wasting lots of money to just have it go down the drain.

I'm new to the whole breeding thing and I wanna breed EBJD I'm looking for advice on how to successfully on breeding them, I have a Male EBJD and a regular JD Female.

I'm having troubles breeding rams with out altering the water, I wanna breed them but just don't wanna change water parameters cause I know if I did then suddenly a change it the water parameters something could go wrong and lose the baby rams. The most I got out of my rams where eggs but then only last 2 days tell they eat them or just no interest in fanning them

Has anyone been success breeding rams with Edmonton city water with out changing the water parameters?
