So I've had these guys for a few days after being betta-free for a year, and I realized how much I missed having them. The male deltatail, Axel (yes, I can't help but name them) is in a tank with some cories and blew a nice big bubblenest his first night in the tank. He's fearless, and is in my way every time I vacuum the sand.
My female, Annabelle, is a HM from Big Al's, but over the years I've learned that their bettas are not without health problems, so we're battling gill parasites and a bit of fungus, which went away when I put her in a salt bath. I'm currently looking for a suitable breeding partner, HMPK maybe, or just a HM, for the summer, once she's 100%.
I apologize for the fairly low-quality images- my only goal was to not get blurry pictures.
