Thanks fo theinfo. To b honest I was afraid to change to much water at a time thinking that would b more harmful to the fry. Live & learn I gues. I'll keek that in mind if I deside to mate this guys again. I never had any problems with africans.
At the moment I have; 2 geos, 2 red head tapajos, 1 nicarawan, 2 mayan terrors, oother2 that skeep my mind but in the geo family, & 2 jewels. My fab by far are the geos.
I had 2 beutiful mating pairs. A green texan & a blue acara pair. Got generous fry from both. I harvested the fries & put them in separate tanks. Everything went well for a while but eventually they all died. Hans the q? What did I do wrong?
Hello im fearlly new to the hobie. Ive been keepin cichilds for about 3 years & enjoy every minute of it. Live in Edmonton & find it unbelievable how we dont have a lot of people breeding peacocks in town.
I'm new to S/A cichilds but recently notice a pair of acaras taking interest to each other & kind of doing "the dance". I was wondering what it'll take to successfully breed them. Any inside info? thanks.
