Green Terrors with babies

Recommended Posts

Some pics of the Green Terror pair that Fatpuffer arranged the trade for ( thanks Jonah) and the babies they hatched out. Not the greatest pictures but will give an idea of the great coloration of the parents and the large batch of babies that they produced.

Thanks Fred

IMPRESSIVE! Love the colour of the male!

BTW the school loves the little ones. They are becoming more active and less skittish!

I'm glad that they are enjoying them. If you think that the male polit would get along with the group and that they might want to add him to the tank, just let me know and they can have him.

Very nice fish, how large a tank do they need when full grown?

Not really sure what they SHOULD have, but right now the pair are in a 45 gal. and they seem happy enough. I'm thinking of moving them into a 120 gal. but , haven't really decided for sure yet. Bigger decision right now is where to put the fry to grow out if the majority of them manage to live.

How the little one's doing now?

Babies are doing great.. thanks for asking.. They are swimming around all over the tank now. It looks like there's less... but hard to say for sure as they are spread out a lot more.

I'll try to get some more pics when they are a little bigger and show up better.
