cichlidmomwanabe
Thanks for the wonderful fish. They all made it on the long journey and have been eating like crazy. I will get some pics up of the tank soon!
SA_Cichlids
I really like your distribution of colour, fish-wise, in the tank! Awesome! And nice julidochromis transcriptus I think??? !
Fishful Thinking
Well, the adventure continues. After having the tank shut down for almost 8 months, I got it back rolling on the weekend. Stocking: 40 rasbora hengli, 40 cardinals, 36 rummynose, 36 forktails rainbows, 8 whiteclouds, 6 galaxy rasboras (danios), 4 corydoras hastatus and 3 ottos. The tank is low light planted currently. It is surprising how far a jam packed 25 gallon can plant a big tank. Watching the big schools cruise the tank is mesmerizing! I still have to put the background on, but so far I am very happy with how it is going.
jvision
Nice start! Do the fish stick to their own kind, or do the different schools mix?
Fishful Thinking
Rasboras and forktails will often mix schools. Other than that, there will occasionally be a cardinal or rasbora in with the rummies. The rummies are the best for sticking together as a group. Feeding time, however, is a mad free-for-all! Fishful Thinking
Added moss from another tank. The forktails instantly went into breeding mode!
