werner
Once again I have neglected my pruning and the plants have taken advantage: This is Limnophila aquatica. Guess now I have to see if it's self fertile...

werner
is that because it bloomed? or?? If I don't chop them soon enough, they break the surface and start growing emergent... and trying to reproduce. Werner how on earth do you get any light into your tank with all that stuff floating on top....LOL! There's a large piece of driftwood that sticks up right below the surface there. All the floating bits of plants anchor themselves there and make a little island (I rip it out occasionally.) As for the light? Metal halides, baby!
