jcgd
How is the needle wheel mod working for you? Did you just snip the blades and bend them out a bit?

ubr0ke
jdcd...Yep just snipped the blades...it works....but its loud...I attached a spray bar to the pump to spread micro bubbles.. Ive used all kinds of diffusers but I like using a pump just for the extra flow.... Thanks jaykit..
jcgd
Awesome, thanks. I want to use that mod on my new tank, but I was going to run the output into my return pump for my sump to take care of the micro bubbles. I was just nervous to ruin a pump and have it not work. Obviously it's working well for you.
ubr0ke
if you dont mind the noise it will work well for you... With a sump there is so many options....look for barrs sealed wet dry instructions....many have had success with it...
ubr0ke
a couple misc pics.. I have since took this tank down..All fish were moved to a non co2 40 gallon..The crypts, hygros and ludwiga were also moved there..the downoi went in the dry start..The rest were moved to a farm tank..When the dry starts done ill add back some of the plants to that tank.
