Jeebes
So in two different tanks I have stingrays that are just hovering at the top of the tank in the bubbles rising from the airstone in the tank... normal or are they about to grow legs and walk out of the tank... thoughts and or ideas?? letsgofishn
Probably just having fun, but keep up with the WC. Check your water chemistry
skynoch
Usually if they are playing in the bubbles it will be up and down the whole water column if they are at the top the whole time there is usually a ammonia or oxygen problem. kirby
I have a trio of rays. The male will spend most of his time hovering in the bubbles near the surface and the females always stay on the bottom and have no interest. Whenever I come o the tank, he drops down waiting for food. Must be his way of passing away the time
badatusernames
mine seems to play with the bubble also
hustler
Got to agree with skynoch.... any time i see rays look like they are playing in current or bubbles there is something seriously wrong with my water..... This is just my own experience however but either way get an ammonia test kit
