Most of the time if they loose them they will pick them up again whether they eat them or not depends on if she feels here eggs are threatened and she will just eat them due to her feeling its the best for them........

This is where a Egg Tumbler come in great use lol Hint Hint.......Just saying.....

I'm inclined to agree with the egg tumbler. I've kept some tropheus moori and they spawned quite frequently and also ate the eggs too. What I did was wait 2 weeks from the day they spawned, then grabbed the female early in the morning when she least expected it and gently emptied the eggs out of her mouth. I built my own tumbler using pantyhose wrapped over a pop bottle cut in half and adding an airstone.

With luck yours will most likely spawn again in a few days. Gluck!
