kDodman
I have found various options on phyto, some say its needed for corals and pods to eat, some say it just pollutes the tank. Any of you had good or bad experiences with it? I just picked some up from Red Coral Aquarium, and I'm not sure how much to add, where to add it, and how often. I was thinking that if I just added it to my refugium it would work well, but I'm starting to really doubt my thinking on that.

cainechow
It seemed to me that a lot of guys will turn off the pumps to feed in the main tank, then leave them off for a while before turning them back on. Then often water change come a day or two after.
