flyfisher
I was curious because I am running co2 and some peat in the filter but usually the best I could get was PH7.5 even with some large pcs. of driftwood. No worries all plants and critters are fine just a experiment for future tanks would like to avoid the RO and wanted to see how far I could go with the K.I.S.S method. ckmullin
If you want to lower PH suggest not to use peat as it exhausts too quickly and just causes swings. I've done experiments with this method and that'd my conclusion.
