In one place a fish has taken a bite into the background, ripping out a chunk and exposing white foam. I have aquarium safe black silicone. Question is can I take a small dab of silicone and apply it to the background to cover up the white spot? There are fish in the aquarium. Will the silicone give off toxins poisonous to the fish while curing or would it be alright for such a small amount? Tried searching for similar issues with no luck.
