maligne
Hi All. So I am raising two l. similis fry. I wasn't sure wht to feed them so I went out and bought some Hikari first bites. Every thing I have read said you should feed your fry a mixed diet. Is there anything wrong with raising them on first bites alone until they can eat the same pellets ( north fin and nls ) as every one els? jvision
Often the parents will chew up their food and let it sit through their guess to feed the fry. NLS Grow is a good food, or just crush up what you already have. I've been feeding NLS for around 10yrs, I recently dug out some Repashy gel I had sitting around, it breaks down pretty fine, and the fry can just pick at it

punman
I crush 1 mm NLS and Northfin with a rolling pin in a Ziploc bag.
