Looking at getting a potassium test kit, googled it on the net , looks like there is not many on the market , Here is one that I found : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Easy-Life-TPF01-SW-Potassium-Water-Test-/331991827223?hash=item4d4c414317:g:Y-gAAOSwTA9X9hwP https://vimeo.com/104597562

What are YOU using , which Potassium test kit is the best and where do/did you get it ??

Thanks

Finding a precise reading isn't important... as long as there's enough. If you're adding KNO3 and KH2PO4 for fertilizer you're probably adding enough potassium. You'll know if you're deficient if you start to see pinholes in mature leaves. If you need more you can add potassium sulphate

Thanks Jason, I am not adding KNO3 OR KHPO4 at this time, my nitrates and phosphates are staying in range from the bio load and feeding , and yes I think I may be deficient and did add some Potassium sulphate and plants started pealing , Just would be nice to have a test kit to confirm levels as I rather not over feed as well. My anubias leafs are cupping (had holes , starts off as yellow spots ) and I also have what looks like Diatoms on my Anubias and sword plants , Plant growth is very slow.

What is your lighting like? If it's relatively high, you'll want to start adding ferts - both macro and micronutrients. Look up Estimative Index for a super-easy way to keep your plants healthy, or Method of Controlled Imbalances for a little more involved method.

I use the nutrifin master test kit(overkill as i do not need all the tests).I used the kit and saved my plants especially the ludwigia repens from low iron in my tank. Do not own any other test kits.
