My 10 gallon tank:PMYJS.jpg

2x13w daylight CFL bulbs 1.5" from water

Marineland penguin 100 filter

Glass top

Aquarium gravel with API first layer

The large piece of wood is only a decoration unfortunately and isn't real, I will likely redo this tank at some point with real wood down the line though. There is a large chunk of some kind of clear rock/glass that was in my basement that I tossed into the tank also. Mickey Mouse is my little buddy in there too.

Flora: 1x java fern, 1x crypt, 1x mayaka, 1x dwarf hairgrass, 1x anubias barteri, 1x temple, 1x cabomba, some java moss and 3 unknown plants.

Fauna: 4x otocinclus

It was just flooded last weekend so it still has a long way to go. Sourcing some other plants that I would like to try in there but getting my LFS to get them in is a bit of a challenge. Hope you like!

Thanks epiphany and yuri! Yes that is pennywort on the driftwood, good eye.

Everyone's tanks are looking spectacular! I'd love to see more submissions!

This is my little fluval cube at work

The grass needs some attention for sure haha I'm looking to tear out the grass in the front and throw in a nice carpeting plant with broad leaves. Something like Elatine triandra but I cannot get it at any fish or plant store!

Wow theese are all quite amazing tanks - nice job - I like that a lot of people put the PH, KH, GH and whether or not there is CO2 and fertilizer being added with the tank dimensions. Can we ask that everyone does that along with light output as in what type of lighting is used (LED, HO, daylight bulbs with 6500 or 10K and so on). I see a lot of experienced hobbyist here with picturesque tanks and I am sure many of us would like to know some of the secrets to these setup so that we can replicate these. Petshop staff I find are harder to really talk to with regards to anything outside of the fish side of things, planted tanks seem to be the escheleon of tanks in my thinking, I could be very wrong in thinking that though. Any one using heated substrate? What type of substrate works best and what type of root fertilizers seem the best for Swords and stem plants (Cabomba, Red ludwigia and such)?

Thought I'd add one of my current layout at it's prime. I'm getting close to doing a rescape.

160 gallon.

Really bad photo, but you can see how the ferns filled in. I let the stem plants go though and now the tank is drastically different. There is about double the ferns again since this photo.
