so i finally decided i'd love to come to the meetings now. i have been meaning to do it for a while but just fell in the back of my mind. I've been here for almost 1.5 years now so i gotta buy a membership i have left i enough lol.

How big are the mini auctions, what's needed, and what can i expectd to see being auctioned off.

The mini auctions differ from mtg to mtg...bring some loonies/toonies, and some $5s and you'll be good! LOL Anything can be auctioned off as far as I know...i've seen fish, plants, equipment.

I'm bringing some plants, assassin snails and haven't decided what else. Also I usually donate a few things from my "grab" boxes. Might bring a couple of microworm starters as the topic is "live foods".

yea it would be great to meet you all, i went to alot of the vancouver auctions but never the meets as i was 2 hours out of town.

Excellent!! For myself, between the discounts at the stores and the auctions, my membership more than pays for itself. As well, I've made many friends too. Speaking of which, I'm running low on pest snails for the assassins AGAIN. So anybody who has extra, please bring them to the meeting for my slimy friends(that doesn't include Werner, of course!!).
