I just bought a new plastic garbage can for aging water. I can't remember weather or not chemicals leaching from the plastic is a potential problem. If so how long would it take for enough of the chemicals to leach out of the plastic to no longer be hazardous for my fish?

as much as I hate to do it I'm going to have agree with quinn, if your looking to make any money at all your going to find something else to breed.

I would really like to know what type of fish this is. It looks kind of like a flowerhorn, but I am not sure. If anyone can tell me I would greatly appreciate it.

I was in there the other day. They only carry salt water. Since they just opened the place was a little bare but given a few weeks I think it will be a really nice shop. Heck the selection they had now was pretty good. However the location does kind of suck if you dont know where it is its kind of hard to see from the road.

I was wondering if anyone has any successful tricks or methods of switching discus onto an additional type of food.

I know that both peat and blackwater extract work to acidify and soften your water but I would like to know how exactly this is done. Also which is better for your tank, or would it be benificial to use both? and why. If anyone can help me out with this I would really appreciate it.
