Well this thread has been informative in more ways than one. -roll- I am looking into getting one of these for a 180g I just picked up. By all the rave reviews given here I think my mind might have just been made up for me.

Nice to hear from you! I know how bad Hinton's LFS sucks, your only other option is Wal-mart. lmfao Then the last and best option is 2 1/2 hour drive to Edmonton. I was raised for a good portion of my life in that hole, beautifull area just nothing much to do. Well good luck in you search and if I am ever coming that way (which I do quite often, atleast to Edson) I could help you out and bring something if you need. Just let me know if you ever need something brought and I can do so for you the next time I come.

Welcome Ian,

A single betta got me into all this so I know where your comming from. I moved into cichlids though and have loved it. I now have 8 tanks not all up right now it depends on the fry I have at the time. Nice to see another person in Leduc most just list as Edmonton. Enjoy the fish and have a Merry Christmas.
