VE6 what did you use for a reflector in that pic??

Try looking around for a cracked or broken tank and just cut it up. Some of the retailers or even Walmart might have something damaged in shipping they have wrote off and is willing to sell cheap.

I run a mini and I take it off every 2 weeks to clean salt creep and I take out the impeller and clean it with a Q-tip and I have never had any problems

I don't feed my algae eaters nothing. I have a large pleco, 4 octos, and a colony of algae eating shrimp, in a 48 gal bow front I have never feed them in 4 years, and they keep my tank immaculate...except a plastic log and even I can't scrape that off with a toothbrush

I bought established rock and never had a spike I don't run a sump 1 powerhead a a AC mini with nothing in it just for flow been about 3 months I have lots of coral doing good except for a zoo frag and 2 fish clown and a firefish :thumbs:
