Sean, Ellie... behave!!!
It's a bitey fish though David! A BIG BITEY FISH!
-
I'd love to, he's one wicked looking fish.
If you want to dump him at some point, consider sending it my way.
-
Every time her answer is the same...
If we divorce i'll be taking your car, our house, and the thing that bothers me is she wants to take my fish just to spite me.
Love and marriage...
Actually that can sometimes be a good deal, it usually means she's taking half of your debt!
-
And Sean... My wife said i cannot play with you anymore as she feels you are a bad influence!
Your wife is a very smart woman! -roll- Hopefully she didn't take me seriously.
-
...and she may secretly, kind of, maybe a little bit, actually like my fish.
More then likely she just didn't want to hear you whine if she didn't do anything. Women are evil that way. Never assume anything!
-
... And, no Sean i will not be divorcing her for a fish girl... Yes you are lucky... No i am not.
You should at least consider it, that's all I'm saying.
-
we haven't seen to many of Sean's pics here lately?
Things at my place have been less then prestine since I moved, moreso I've just been busy. I did pick up a few new fish the other day so I might be able to sit down and take some. That's assuming anyone wants to see them!

If you are not into professional fish photography (is there such a thing?) you should be!
Wow do I ever wish there was such a thing -roll-
-
Only your froggie...
It would be a surprize to hear that you are still with your better half!
To be honest I broke up with my girlfriend of 4-1/2 years and am now dating a fishgirl. Definate upgrade!
-
Or if your wife likes fish then i can't think of a better way to celebrate then at a fish auction
...and if your wife hates fish what better way to expediate the divorce! -roll-
-
and oct. instead of sept. was also stated!
In which case everyone is encouraged to make the trip to Saskatoon for our Giant Auction on September 24th. Guaranteed to be larger then either Calgary or Edmonton’s last ones. -roll-

I don't care what Sean says, those are some great shots!
Tsk! I already told the guy they were decent over MSN this morning.
I can be nice sometimes you know! -roll-
-
Took a few more shots this evening in my Malawi tank.
To my early morning eyes I'd say they're all a bit lacking in sharpness. I'll probably add a few more comments later once I wake up. I must admit that I sympathize about the Dimidiochromis as they can be tricky fish to shoot well.
-
That could go TWO places.....depending on whether you were single or not.

I fixed the White Balance on one of the above pictures. Much better IMO.
Heh, I had a reply about what I'd do to fix it but as I posted it this one appeared.
-
Just as general criticism, as I look at these pictures it seems like the white-balance is off for the whole set. A definite yellowish cast to the pictures in my opinion.
-
I don't know if this has been suggested, but have you ever entertained the thought of video conferencing and/or video private message? You'll have to excuse me if it has been before, I am being lazy and it's quicker to ask.
Trying to pick up chicks or what?
I'm not too sure how that would further an aquarium site. I can understand the advantages of dispensing information in more direct fashion, such as MSN, however I don't see any advantage to video. If you'd like to meet other hobbyists face-to-face you best go to an auction.
-
Too bad that second dragon fly pic didn't turn out, I like that one the best.
I'll take another one just for you -ham-

Thought I'd post three throw-aways from the same session that were otherwise headed to the delete-bin. Someone might find something here they like;
I was aiming for a softer look and didn't achieve what I was trying for.
-
As it's a stat-holiday I felt that I'd take a few minutes this morning to try and catch some pictures in the early light. It just happened to be windy enough to be a none-so-productive session. This one came across as almost acceptable.

So I gather since it has a sump you're going to go salt?
Strangest rational I ever did see. Sump systems are the de facto standard on larger fresh water aquariums. Could you explain the thought process behind that one?
-
Now a question...how in hell does everyone get crisp photos of fish that just won't stay still?
Buy me a few beers sometime and I'll tell you all the secrets!
-
I absolutely keep my tanks topped up at all times. The sound doesn't bother me but seeing the water line drives me nuts. This is a topic a friend and I have a long running argument about, goes back years.
-
I thought I'd share this one picture I took over the weekend. It's probably my best insect macro to date,
Thoughts?
Should I be upset with my Wife...

Time to invest in some really-really expensive fish?
