  1. Well desided to put a little nano tank in my cubicle at work, this has been quite the little project that has visitors comming by my cubicle everyday asking me questons and just to sit there and gaze at it

I started out with a little JBJ nanocube 6dx that i bought second hand off a fellow reefer here in Edmonton (on canreef)

added around 5lbs of rock and some sand, sat like that for about a week, the water i trucked in from the tank at Dad's house so i used nice established water

now i have added some softies, ( Zoo's, Open Brain, Xenia, GSP and a couple shrooms)

its looking really good and thought i would share some pics of it

  2. Pic 2 is a toadstool leather, and thank you all for the comments!

Dad and myself have put a lot of time into his tank, but as with any tank, i dont think it will ever be finished lol

and to think, that picture of the clam, it a macro lol, that clam is less then half an inch in size lol

  3. The only problem with the Vendor forum is people take things personal, you cant read emoition and thats the main issue

If there was a way to lock a topi after the review was posted then things would not get out of hand IMO

Personally i just hate seeing all the slander that goes on here on this board, either ppl need to chill out a little or just PM the issues, there is no reason to air dirty laundry out in the open like it has been in the past with a select few old members

  4. Josh, We will take

Small rock covered with about 50-60 zoos (all brown skirts, mix of orange and green centres) - $20

Small rock covered in Red skirt/green mouth zoos (about 25 polyps, also has caulerpa embedded in it) - $20

"Edmonton Eskimo" zoos, bright green skirts/orange centres & mouths (15 polyps) - $30

can you bring them to the meet?

also do you have any pics of the others?

we might look at all your Zoos if you want to do a package deal

  5. *** Please do not try disassembling any computers with a built in monitor until you learn how to properly ground a CRT. Seriously... very dangerous.

This is beond dangerous. We're talking laying in a puddle of urine 10 feet away with a huge burn on your arm, if you're lucky you might wake up again.

When the above happened to me I had the proper equipment to do this and had been trained on CRTs and high discharge stuff like battery backups as well. I don't know if I actually touched it or not, I can't remember. This was far from the first monitor I ever took apart either.

If anyone wants to try this I will ground out your CRT for you if you bring it to me free of charge. Provided I can find my tools, I have no idea where I put them.

Also keep in mind that a CRT can hold a charge for years at a time.

This is somthing i fully agree with, I have seen this fisrt had as well, not to me, but to a co-worker, put almost through a wall, it was bad and very scary

I would take Midgetwater up on his offer if you where to attemp this
