  1. Hey Parachromis how was ordering from FF? I have been debating it for a while now did you run into any extra fee's? Great pickups Btw bet you can't wait till the umbee's are huge

Nope Ken is a great guy to deal with, if you order from him I'm in on it. I've got only 2 of the 3 Panama Greens left, the biggest about 2" now.. They were fry when I got them. I have one regular blue Umbee who's about 6.5". It has all male characteristics but I've been burned by that before.

PM me if you have any other questions.

  2. HWY 2 north, Take the Morinville/Sandy lake exit, and go west on sec. 642 about 1 km, or the first left go down about 1/2 km to the entrance just before the railroad tracks, turn left and follow the road back toward the hwy. When you get to the end by the hwy, there is a little cove, and that's the hotspot.

Thank you, when its not so cold I'm gonna go pick some up :)

  3. What's the shippers name for crayfish? I want some for my bass.

Just come up to the pond next to the hwy by Morinville, Lift a few rocks and you will go home with a 1 gal pail in about 10 minutes. Put them in a tank to quarantine for about 2 weeks and feed. Flowerhorns liked them, so bass should too.

Which hwy and what lake? I'm very interested in going here!

It's maggiewu or something like that. She's got a couple of auctions in snails going(and don't even think of bidding against me, lol). You can contact her that way.

I won't bid against you for snails, I want the crays :)

  5. Couldn't resist.....cement is an additive and concrete the result.

They take 3 samples when pouring concrete and the three must be 500 psi or better, so you could have better concrete or worse is possible - if missed anything during the sampling procedure. What this means is a load of any more than 500 psi will crush the concrete regardless of how thick or well the grade under it has lasted over the years. Big tanks are serious, and must be taken seriously.

I figured someone would catch me on that :) My dad and grandpa both said it will make the concrete crumble and buckle with time doesn't really matter how thick it is.
