No, I don't even have them yet. I am just trying to plan a tank, so i'm researching what I'm going to put in there. I don't want any suprises, like "hey, I thought I had more fish than that". Should the tankmates be about equal size to the kribs, or does it matter.

What I'm wondering is when they are breeding, will they become very aggressive towards their tank mates. It's a 30g.

I think the calender idea is a pretty good one. It would give people a chance to show off their fish and photography skills. Some of the pictures people have as avatars are really good. Like at degrassi's for example.

Would it be wise to put more than one krib in a community tank. Will they kill all my other fish if they started to breed.

In a 30g tank, approximately how many cardinal tetras would be needed for them to exhibit schooling behavior.

I would like some suggestions for potential tank mates for a trio of Apistogramma cacatuoides. Thank you.

Hi, My name is Dean and I'm from edmonton. I don't actually have any aquariums yet. I hope to get one soon, so i'm doing all of the planning and research now. This forum is extremely helpful, and full of good advice. Adivce is always wanted and appreciated.

How about a section devoted to advice for the new comers. A place where people who are just starting this hobby can ask questions. Like, what sort equipment should you be expecting to buy? How big should your first aquarium be? What kind of fish should you get for your first aquarium? etc........ Some of this stuff might be painfully obvious for the seasoned hobbiest, but overwhelming for the new comer.
