  1. haha dustin shut up just cause your jags over 14". dont worry, we'll see whos tougher someday. the pups are doing great, theyve nibbled on fine chopped shrimp. hoping to get them onto earthworms.

chris- i remember the pics you showed me at AI before you dropped this guy off. maybe now that hes alone, he'll really color up.

  2. looks like he should get or has good colour. like the blue fins

his colors depends on his moods i think now, the blues on the fins are just hues. 5 minutes within having him in the tank and the bucket he was in, he was swimming like he owned the entire tank. ive got 4 motoro pups in there with him right now along with a bichir. he's a nice fish, even with his flaws (caudal fin and jaw damage). i hope he turns out to be a stunning specimen. im giving him the 120 for his own.

  3. it looks as though neo has been a member for a while considering his post count. not naming anyone, I've seen users abuse the forum by putting useless posts. just my two pennies.

nice to see you on here neo. hopefully you put some pics of the mundis on here. I like this tank, I'm not a believer of a fish having appropriate room, because I know myself that my own tanks are overstocked.

  4. i use ebos, boyus (from china lol) and fluvals. i stick them to a panel of the tank and use a powerhead to circulate the heat. ive got a 150gal that i use a 250w fluval on that has a constant temperature of 81. mind you, ive got a 14" motoro in there that sometimes knocks the heater off the panel.

  5. the motoro clears 14". that airstone is huge scott, i think its 5" diameter also. i love these guys, never fight for food. if one gets worms/shrimp in their mouth, they leave the other alone.

Ya I was fooled, lol. Next question is where did you get that airstone?

the airstone came all the way from Philippines. got it sent from a parcelled box of goodies I'm using for my tanks. included heaters, bubblers, air hose, pumps(air/utility), and extra bits and pieces. the box was heavy, but it was only because of a couple 4litre cans of fruit drink I can only find in Philippines.
