I had a used Fluval 404 that I acquired from a friend leak on me.

I was out of town and my wife came home to half of her 35g tank on the livingroom floor.

It turned out to be a bad seal on the main body of the canister.

If you are going to get used equipment, I would check it thoroughly. Lesson learned

I was using Big Al's dechlorinator and recently switched to Prime on the recomendation of a friend. My wife is still using the last of the BA stuff. I know it doesn't do as much as prime, but is the BA generic dechlorinator descent at what it does?

Hello all!

I have recently become addicted to tropical fish tanks after my wife received a free tank from a coworker.

We now have 4 tanks set up and are regulars at almost all the fish stores in Calgary.

I am big into research and knowledge and have been scouring the internet since we started the first tank.

Its really nice to find a local source for information.
