i am thinking of getting a used ehiem pro 2227 it is a good price and comes with some of the media it will be going on my 110 gallon tank witch has a rena xp3 on it right now the rena will be staying there it is just so i have extra filtration

i have never had a ehiem and was woundering if they are loud as it will be going into the living room of my house.

also with the filter being used what is the best way to clean it so as not to contaminate my tank cuz the tank has my group of wild caught tropheus in it and also should i be getting all new media or can i clean the media that comes with it

or would it be best to just buy a new filter

woot my new wc RR's are holding hope they hold to term

i am not sure if they still have them but pices in calgary had some large cats before they moved

building a stand for a 110gallon tank i want to buils a stand for a tank that i just got and was woundering what kind of wood i would have to use for the frame and what size if 2by4s would work the tank is drilled in the center for a sump as well

i don't know about edmontan but in calgary the cheapest places are the asian super markets unless there is a sale

i am hopeing to free up one of my 115g tanks and was woundering what are the pros and cons for both i would like something that is diferent also how many of each i could keep in a 115g and if i would have to chane my rocks to something morerounded i have a mixed african setup right now but the rrocks have a bit of sharp edges on them with a sand bottom and what kind of a clean up crew i could use i have 9 multi punks and3 albino bn in the tank right now

i have a peacock tank and they seem to be fine the only time i had a isue is when the females i have look the same

fiardeal has alot of cool fish includeing plecos and he is in calgary just look a few pages back in the live stock for sale area and you will see his stock list
