Just wanted to do a quick update today. Just took this picture and it seems I may need to trim soon.

Any suggestions on keeping the HC lower and more dense?

So did you find ways on keeping the HC lower and dense?

I am going to check out http://www.ornamenta...al_Stone.html#2 in a couple of weeks (once they are back from holidays) for some cool rocks.

I read that there was some chemical you should test rocks to make sure they are suitable for aquariums. Anyone know what it is and where to get it?

Any other suggestions for unusual rock?

Did you happen to order rocks from this website?

How's the mini iwagumi? Does the plant grow ok?

My last HC was great, lush and green until I filled the water in.

Well..when I said ADA tank, I would like to use all ADA's stuff hoping that my attempt will succeed. I know it sounds too much..but right now I don't have any tank. So I thought I'll splurge a little bit for this .. my only one [future] tank (ha!...now I feel better before spending the money hehe).

I will start with a small one.

I will need help from all the expert here particularly on:

- where to get the ADA stuff (thanks Ron, you mentioned Pisces)

- good supplier for plant ; and rocks (even if I have to order online, I'll do it)

- nitty gritty about substrate & CO2 (thanks cainchow for the info).

I won't use DIY CO2 since I know I have zero skills for that.

- water quality issue (I use water softner at home, a friend of mine said that this could be an issue)

Last time when I tried to grow HC, it took me 3 weeks using dry start.

Anyways to speed it up? well..I guess it won't hurt to ask..right?

hello...it's been a while not to visit the forum. I've taken a 'leave of absence' from any aquarium related topic after failing to 'aquascaping' my tanks.

now..I would like to try again..still in a small tank, but am thinking to try ADA tank.

Can someone here share their thoughts about ADA tank?

All i want is to create a natural aquascape with lots of carpet plant 😊

very nice.... that blue one with the pinkish head looks like he was dipped into some paint halfway or someone came by and erased the blue off his head. Pretty unique looking!

I have used Fotolr ps ... but it's more for editing the pictures. I am looking for an apps where i can use as a 'camera'. Means it has more feature than just the built in iphone camera.

I name all my fish, and usually I named them based on their characters . It's hard to believe..but that's how I named them LOL

but.. I always feel a bit embarrased to tell friend the name of my fish ..I only shared to certain people whom I know won't think that I'm weird

so yeah..I guess some people will think we're weird...but who cares

The seminar was awesome. Learnt some really good tips and tricks. Had plenty of questions answered.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed it.

Also, Mr. Joseph (Miyabi_Aqua) is a really awesome guy as well.
