hey guys i just recently set up a drip system on my tank and need a little help. everything works fine on the mechanical end of things but after running it for a few days my ph sky rocketed killing 2 super reds. i used neutral regulater and got it back down tested the tap and calgary water was at a ph of 8.4. this would naturally bring the ph back up, the thing is a lot of guys here in alberta have drip systems why is my ph being affected.

it all depends on the mother on when she spits but generally for peacocks you can strip around 14 days

I have a breeding group of these fish. The person said that they were Albino Eureka Reds,so I went online and looked around and that's what I thought. Then I went to sell some and they said the aren't a true Albino Eureka Red fish. Could this be true? Are these fish ALWAYS hybrid? Are they worth anything? I was told from more than one person that they are a rare ish fish.... is this true? I thought they would be a good fish to breed, but if they are a worthless fish is it worth the time?
i used to breed this kind for along time, yes the photos are forsure albino eureka reds, all albinos are inbred 7 generations over and albino eurekas are very rare. They are however a little hard to breed because the females don't usually hold full term best thing to use is an egg tumbler
