  1. Are those glass heaters?

I meant the black plastic type. My fish is a jerk and likes to ram things on occasion. I don't trust that guy with glass.

I was using an aqueon for a 90gal. It was doing it's job but in guessing was a little overworked with the extra water to heat.

  2. Someone went to pick up a tank. Seller was unaware there was a fish still in it. Buyer brought the fish to my store that does not accept fish. 3" gourami of some sort, I can take it home....a few mins on the Internet and I realize I have myself a giant....dude is in a 75 for now and will be going into a 120 in just over a month. Might be my excuse to get a bigger tank in the future :P

How big is yours and what size tank? What do you have with him?

    Did he grow really quickly?

And any live plants they won't eat? My poor anubias can't hold up to him :(

  3. Looking for a new stand for my 120g. Currently have an aqueon stand that came with the tank..I don't thinks its all that sturdy.. What's the best place in edmonton to find one that is either super reinforced already or that will make me a custom one AND deliver.

    Thanks for your help

  4. They don't have that split dorsal that my rainbows do. It's just kind o the back half of what mine have.

There is actually quite a bit of iridescent turquoise on them. The darker tailed ones have a black strip and then a yellow edge on the end of their tails. And the anal fin is quite yellow.

I will charge my phone then try to put up pics..

  5. I had some randoms dropped off today. I do not know what they are and I do not know how to post pics on here from my phone.

Anyone wanna PM me their email and play what's that fish?

They are all over 2.5". Mostly silver. Some have just afl few shiny turquoise-ish scales on their sides. And lots of small dark spots

Others have blue and yellow tails, more blue, no black spots and a dark lateral line.

The person I got them from just picked them up off someone else. All he was told was they were kind of aggressive with a betta...

I have them in bags right now..I want to put them straight into the big tank if they are compatable so I font have to move them twice. But then again I also don't want to find out it's no good after they are in a 125....

    Thanks

    :)

  6. I have crown tail who has a couple bubbles in his tail and has for a while now. It started out as the jagged edges of his fins kind of twisting around each other and eventually looking like they were knotting. Then one bubble showed up and then another. They look to be filled with fluid because they don't float up at all. I have no idea what it is. I have tried salt and Melafix and neither seemed to make any difference. he has had bubbles in his tail for 6 months if not longer. He still acts normal, eats regularly. I know it doesn't answer your question but I have a bubble betta too :P
