mine said fatal error, but I'm in now

very nice. Tell us some details, how big they get, how aggressive, do they need a cool down period?
How much? Thanks
-
I have two of these, each in a 1,000 gallon system. BEST filters I've ever had.
The big advantage is the backwash.
You never have to get your hands wet or manually wash media.
I have had mine about 7 years now with no problems.
A little bit of plumbing for years of easy maintenance.
Def worth it!!!!!
I have a massive bioload with 10 fish at 12 inches each in each tank plus many smaller fishes.
I went with advantage plus (from "Sacramento Koi", very good people to deal with)because it has a see thru lid and you can see how clean the beads get after a water change.

I'm having the same problem

I have honduran jaguars and blue/black Umbie grow outs. I am busy at work for the next month but then I could part with a few, I will post when I'm free to catch them. My 5-6 inch jag has been sold but the rest of the fish are all between 2-4 inches.

How can you tell the difference between male and female Ornantums, I have no clue.
Any pic's?
-
Spectacular Devils, love them all, lol

Do you still have your Ornantums, if so, how many, what size and how are they doing.
-
Do pure Labiatus get humps.
I just got 12 of them from the states, incredible red colors on some and yellows on others.
I know you want pic`s, they will follow soon, lol
-
They are Gianantic, but friendly, LOL. I will try to get a pic of them after next water change.

The pair shown here are from the same batch as the adult breeding pair i am now selling, the fish in the back ground are melenurus.

Thanks but I'm looking for fry to put with my festae and ornatum growouts
Where did you score your Ornatums from ? It took me a long time to find the ones I got.
I got them from the states, I realize now that these are much more aggressive than their festae cousins, I now ended up with two males and one female pushing 6 inches, they kill each other until only a pair is left. Festea's attack in spurts but these guys are different.
I have a male (Ornantum in a 750 gallon tank and he kept fighting a male Parachromis Motaguense (same size), you would think the tank would be big enough to avoid fighting, well I know what damage a male Mota can do so I pulled out the mota.

Spencer jack from Winnipeg, he sends them to you on the greyhound.
Nice very large pieces, check out his web site.

Better seperate them at this point is when he might kill her, then in a month or so try again, the females are still young
