im getting a tank built 180gal the guy asked if i want a dual overflow ? i have no idea about tanks i don't want an extra tank under the 180gal just want a canister cos i think is the easiest way to go i was told

i think a canister is the way to go, do they sit in the tank ? or a tube from the canister into the tank ?

how much is that ? am i better off buying second hand ?

ok so heres the deal i have a 55gallon & 118gallon that im selling to gain a 180gallon but i have no idea on what im to get with it sump or pump, filters ?? do i need a tank below ? and is it worth me buying the new 180gallon for 500 also im using it for fresh water will i need to get holes cut into the glass ?

is a Little giant 875gph aquarium pump good enough for 180gallon ? or 118gallon ? and whats a good price to pay foe a second hand one ?

no i see the logic behind it an i suppose it has its pros and cons, just i wanted to use that part of the site right now lol

Hi not sure where i was supposed to post this so i chose here. i looking for a big tank, stand, hood, light ect was going to get a custom built tank but didn't really think too deep into it, but with some advise for some members i think my best bet is too buy a whole set up as im new to it all and feel lost so if you or some one you know has a tank with all the bits and bobs to go with it let me know thanks
