  3. :) i have seen mulitudes of dividers on the net, such as..

    http://www.arcatapet.com/category.cfm?catnum=181

but what i would do and prob is the cheepiest.. go to wal-mart or a craft store.. get some nedele work backing and go to a store like staples get 2 plastic folder side strips.. then

Place plastic channel against glass, below frame of aquarium

Spread stainless steel clip over frame of aquarium until it holds the channel firmly against the glass

Repeat by clipping other channel against glass on opposite side of aquarium

Slide plastic "Flo-Through" plate into position in .. poof one cheep good looking divider.. at 1/3 the cost

    hope this helps ya

  13. Well, about a week ago, I put the female Yellow Lab, who finally spit her kids, back into the community tank. Yesterday, as I'm watching them beg me for food, I notice another Yellow Lab (same one?) with the biggest mouthfull I've ever seen!! I thought the last female had a mouthfull when the kids had hatched and were freeswimming!!

I was worried it'd be the same female, thinking she'd be pretty thin. But, this lady looks a bit more mature. She has more black on her fins - thought she was a subdominant male - and has a nice thick body (not fat... healthy). If she has the same size batch as the last one, that'll put my Yellow fry count over 20 - that's coming from barely 3" fish!

want to cull some fry.. id take some L))

    thanks

  14. update.. all the fry are gone.. (presumed eaten??)

now i noticed like 50- *eggs*? in another cave.. and the mon & dad hovering and chashing the other fish away from that cave.. this lasted for the last 4 days.. now i just checked ( i can see inside the cave good its made from a large tupperware containor) and no eggs.. did she or another eat em.

    water temp is 78-80degreese

food is sperilena/flake and chrushed cichlid floters

    help pls

    Thanks

    DF :ml:
