The prize for best of show will be a trophy hand carved by world renowned Brian Walsh. A second carving will be raffled off sometime during the convention. More examples of Brian's work can be found on his website.

Try Jehmco for the pump and all accesorries. You can't go wrong with thier linear piston pump line up. Shipping is cheap enough if your in no rush.
I use the AV1B

There is still 25x too much supplement. Do another large water change (80% change would bring it down to x5 overdose). This is a salt water tank right? Why are you even dosing with NO3 and PO4? The goal with a sw reef tank should be to have both these parameters as low as possible. Since newly mixed sw is caustic, I would mix it and let is sit overnight with a powerhead for agitation; especially when doing such a large water change.
Hopefully all goes well.

My wild caught Betta Gladiator pair is doing very well in Edmonoton water at 78 f, very nice fish. They have not bred yet but I have my fingers crossed. I got them from Big Al's Edmonton; ask Michael to bring them in for you.

Right now just L134 (leopard frog). Hoping to breed some L14 (sunshine Plecos) and other members of the genus Peckoltia.
Currently I just have one breeding pair of turqoise discus. Actually, they just layed eggs today... maybe in a few months i'll sell the juvies in the livestock fourm

Live foods have always produced the best results for me (to stimulate spawning). Maybe a couple feeder minnows or small guppies.

Most stores i`ve been to won`t give credit for convicts
I know people breed them for fish food though, so there may be a market there...

Hey, its my first post.
First of all I would like to say that this is a awsome website and i`m glad to be a new member.
I`ve been keeping tropical fist for over ten years now; saltwater for over 5. Currently, I have a dedicated fish room in the basement where I keep a variety of fish primarily for breeding purposes.
I'm from Edmonton and am always looking for a good deal on rare and interesting fish
I`m looking forward to contributing to Alberta Aquatics...
Thanks for such a great website!

Where's the plumbing for the sink on the island? Looks like it drains straight into the tank lol
