  1. As far as bottom feeders go I went with the assorted snails and hermits . Because my tank is a bit larger 130gallons with a 90 gallon sump I opted for a Hawaiian lobster a manderin goby and a watchman with a couple sand sifting starfish. I found as long as the fish are fast swimmers the lobster leaves them alone

In the case of sand beds I was always told an inch or four stay out of the in between because of gas release so I went an inch in the display tank and 4 inches in the sump to boost the denitrifying bacteria

    Hope that helps

  2. I had a similar experience in the end I did a viral/ bacterial cleanse on the the tank and purchased a uv sterilizer after about a week of that I started slowly adding inhabitants to the tank and life returned to my reef

It was a poopy and frustrating experience but it's the risk you take sometimes

  3. Need some advice guys I accidentally overdosed my tank(dropped the bottle)

The tank should have received a 6 ml dose when in actuality it got closer to 250ml

24 hrs later complete white out in the tank so I did a 40 percent water change and pulled my sprayers out of the water to boost the oxygenation and removal of the nitrogen gas

Now other than my anemone and soft corals closing up shop and my house smelling of nitrogen all the inhabitants seem ok

Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated
