  1. turned my tank lights on yesterday morning and notice a layer of jelly like fuzzy stuff on the driftwood floating in my tank. Any ideas what this could be and if i should be concerned. Its almost clear transparent, and a 1/2" thick layer, but is only on the drift wood?

  8. I constantly see tiny fish and inverts I like but would not want in my tank because they would be a meal for something else, I also may want to keep shrimp or snails in it. It comes in handy from time to time. Also it has a slow drip that works well to acclimate fish and inverts
  9. Last night I set up my air pump and stone as well as my refugium. Does anyone else run a refugium on their fresh tanks?
  10. Hi, new to the forum, but not new the hobby. Not too long ago i shut down my 65 gal salt tank and recently decided to start up a new tank. So I filled cleaned 65 gallon with freshwater, treated it and started up my Marineland 350. Its been running since January 1st. Tested my water on the weekend and ph and hardness were high, but I knew that would be the case, didnt write it down either. I used ATM Colony the other day and am going to do more testing tonight. will have pictures up soon
