Pretty much identical to how most of my ACs are set up....works a treat.

Hard to tell from the photos, but is that a senegalus or a lapradei?

I reside in Calgary (have for 18 years now), and been in the hobby for three and a half decades. I keep mostly predators (primarily Polypterids, gobies and lungfishes), as well as many, many catfish, and a smattering of cichlids, livebearers and killies.

Of course, there are always the CAS meetings, as well as the big show and auction in Sept.
