Guest FLIP
I searched a lot to find info on these "fish" and i was wondering what your opinions on them because the stores say they can be very agressive and the internet says they're nice fish aslong as they are with fish they wont eat. Are these also the same eels as peacock eels?
Toirtis
Peacocks are a species of spiny eel. Most spinys are pretty good, but often spar with conspecifics. Larger specimens of larger species (tyretracks, fires, etc) will occasionally have a go at small fish if they are hungry.
DCallele
I searched a lot to find info on these "fish" and i was wondering what your opinions on them because the stores say they can be very agressive and the internet says they're nice fish aslong as they are with fish they wont eat. Are these also the same eels as peacock eels? I have a dedicated tank for them and I can almost guarantee that they will eat any fish that they can fit into their mouths. The good thing is that they are really bad hunters so most can get away :-) They prefer worms (earth and red) over anything else although some of mine also appreciate pickerel!
