Danzig
Hello, i have a Senegal Bichir who is about 7-8" and living on his own in a 55g. I had a 9" needlenose gar in with him for about 5 months before giving it to a friend which a much larger tank. So now im looking into getting him a tankmate. Im open to suggestions on 1 maybe 2 more additions and would prefer to keep it somewhat of an oddball tank or at least unique. So far im kind of leaning towards a couple Pantodon buchholzi's. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
BigA
That would be a cool idea. I would maybe add a couple of dwarf snakeheads or maybe a spiny eel.

Toirtis
Leaf fish could work, as would leopard Ctenopoma.
Slough Shark
If you added the leaf fish and ABFs you could make it an Oueme River Biotope  I don't know how much of each you could put in a 50 Gal, I would guess like 2 African Leaf Fish and 3 ABFs? Toirtis what do you think?

I have no experience mixing the two, so it could work, but with caution.

Slough Shark
Yeah it would be really cool. Let me know if it works out between the Leaffish and the ABFs, I'm thinking of setting up a similar setup (without the Senegalus) in my 30 Gal.
