These fish have surfaced in Winnipeg under the trade name C. olgae. Planet catfish has several mentions of them including one where the poster indicates that they surfaced under the name C. olga (slightly different sp) in 1998 in Milwaukee. Apparently Olga is the first name of the wife of the importer. In any event they look very much like simulatus or variant of simulatus with extended snout. Some have more obvious banding down the back than others. Sorry for the quality of the pics but they are in a LFS and the lighting was not great and the fish stayed to the back of the tank.
