jessie83
:welcome: Hello I was wondering if Ram, German Blue (Papilochromis ramirezi) can live with Angel fish? I was also wondering what ph level is best and decor should I use? Jessie
thegrandpoohbah
Do you mean Microgeophagus ramirezi? Yes, they can live with angels. They prefer soft, acidic water and do best in a planted tank with some nice driftwood.
DiscusKeeper403
Yep, it's a pretty good mix, both come from the same type water. What size tank are you putting them in? I would say a Ph of 6.5 is good, but most tank bred fish (with a few exceptions) should have no problem living in almost any Ph. I wouldn't recommend adjusting the Ph unless you are using R/O/De-ionization. I personally think chemicals are a waste of time, and are risky. I try not to use any more chemicals then needed.
