revotoby Posted January 2, 2009 Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 i recently got a 90 g salt water and a 40 g tank the 40 was not running the guy i got if from had over a 100 lbs of dead rock so i took it also now instead of useing proper salt i used water softner salt and the rock is growing i also have crabs in it is this a safe alturnative to instant ocean ?
