firestorm
I did do a slightly larger water change on Saturday, to give it a better vac. Only about 40% though, normally I do 25%. Yes the wood was in a tank with fish, and for quite a while too. I don't think a medium piece of driftwood would alter the pH that much in a 90 gallon to really affect the fish. I had 3 pieces in my discus tank, another 90 gallon, and it only lowered it by .2. I will add more prime just in case, it could be a small cycle from a larger water change. Thanks Patrick And thanks everyone else who has helped. I use the Hagen test kit. I remember nitrites were light purple for less and dark for more. My ammo tested very slight yellow so hardly any, have to go test nitrites.
